HELLENIC TRAIN routes from May 15, 2023 Athens, Thessaloniki, etc

 Dear Passengers, Hellenic Train informs you that,... starting from Monday 15/05/2023, new itineraries will be added on the Athens - Thessaloniki - Athens axis, with two (2) additional pairs of Intercity trains, one of which will be operated by ETR470, and new departure/arrival times, for the better service of the passengers.

It should be noted that ETR470 trains are stationed at all intermediate stops, and the tariff and commercial policy applied is similar to that of Intercity trains, (B class: 43€ and A class 52,50€ for a single ticket).

In particular, from Monday 15/05/2023 on the Athens - Thessaloniki - Athens axis, the following trains will be running:

From Athens:

IC50, departure time 06:59
IC52, with departure time 09:59
IC54, with departure time 14:59 (train ETR470)
IC56, with departure time 17:59

From Thessaloniki:

IC51, with departure time 07:15 (train ETR470)
IC53, with departure time 10:15
IC55, with departure time 15:15
IC57, with departure time 18:15

Bus services on the Athens - Thessaloniki - Athens route are cancelled.

Μoreover, from Monday 15/05/2023:

1. The departure/arrival times of the Athens-Chalkida-Athens route are modified.

2. The complete network of the Piraeus-Kiato-Piraeus, Kiato-Aigio-Kiato and Patras-Kiato-Patras bus lines is now fully activated.
3. Rail services are activated on the local line Thessaloniki - Larissa - Thessaloniki and on the route Larissa - Volos - Larissa.

Hellenic Train will inform about the routes that will be gradually added to the timetable with new announcements.
